What is Tantra?

When it comes to what Tantra is, there is not one definition for it is an essence, a continuous weaving of self and soul, it is about bringing consciousness into every moment through self connection and a deeper sense of self-awareness.


Tantra stems from the ancient Sanskrit word tan which means to weave. With ancient teachings dating well back into Great Goddess, shamanic, matriarchal societies thousands of years ago. Trickled down through the surviving of this ancient, knowledgeable time into the Vedic texts and teachings through India and such religions as Hinduism, Jainism, buddhism, the Vajrayana traditions etc.


Tantra is an embodied art of living with presence and being open to the pleasures of existence.


Through the tantric lens of life, sexual eros is sacred and divine union is a microcosmic connection of source and self.


Tasting the nectar of the gods through spiritual devotion to self, mindfulness and meditation opening to receive from the cosmos and other realms, connected always.


Tantra is the interwoven web of consciousness and love that nourishes, connects, activates and arouses. It flows and twirls and dances and rises sacred life force energy through you, into the highest realms of consciousness- forever expanding and evolving deeper into the truth of your soul.
